Support4charities Journal
In the course of our work, we are lucky to travel quite regularly from UK, where we are based, to South Africa, combining charity work with travel. Our journal reflects our journeys, whether they are serious, or just for fun. We hope you enjoy the details and the photos. Hover your cursor over the photos for details of where and what they show. We welcome your comments.

University of Delaware and University of Stevenson Groups
For the past 15 years, Toni Hasler (Support4charities Director) and her husband, Patrick Hamilton, have been involved with the University of Delaware and other USA Universities through a Study Abroad program. Groups of students travel to South Africa, usually for a month, for a programme that we put together and which includes a wide variety of activities, including:
- Volunteer and Work placements with local charities and organisations, often in local townships
- Visits to places of historical, cultural and scenic interest
- Facilities for classes, seminars and lectures - part of their University studies
- Occasions to meet and mingle with local people
- Big 5 Safari, often to the beautiful Madikwe Game Reserve, close to the border of Botswana
- All accommodation, air travel and ground transportation
